Tribut Stool is a reinterpretation of the Romanian iconic shepherd’s chair, developed around a campaign to promote the 5th edition of Romanian Design Week.

The intervention on the original object was just at a structural and functional level, with the purpose of adapting an iconic object to contemporary needs: a bar stool that can be associated with the urban environment, with socializing and interaction.

The three legs and the seat are pre-cut, and then shaped on a wood lathe. The legs can be easily screwed to the seat in an invisible way, through hidden metal pieces placed at the bottom of the seat and on the top of the legs. The stool incorporates a metal triangle which holds the legs, and can also be used as a footrest.
